Single Sign-on capability (SSO)

We have upgraded the Orchestra Platform and in particular its Identity Management and Access Management system to enable SSO connectivity compatible with the SAML2.0 standard.

Access management to the platform can therefore be handled by a distributor’s system allowing the same users and passwords to be used to connect to the distributor’s tools and to Orchestra.

Tictactrip connectivity

The new Tictactrip transport source is now available as a new multimodal transport source (combination of train and bus).

An additional sort has been added that faithfully reflects the order in which the transport is displayed, as returned by the source. On this specific sort, no additional sort is performed by the booking process.

New transport filters have also been added: ‘Bus company’ and ‘Type of transport’ (air, rail, road).
These two filters work in the same way as the ‘Company’ filter, i.e. the hits are all the possibilities (outward + return) that contain at least one compatible segment.
For example: if you filter by the “TGV” mode of transport, a transport with a TGV outward journey and a Flixbus return journey will come up.

Please note that it is not yet possible to choose the class of transport. Tickets are issued automatically when you book, with a configurable waiting time to increase the confirmation rate.

Ticket collection is automated in the Transport Backoffice.

Better Yield Management control on options

The Yield Management functionality has been improved so that it only applies to optional services when an option is specifically selected when the Yield rule is created (or modified).

Improved presentation of the booking process for multi-accommodation bookings

The design of the booking process has been improved to increase the clarity of the presentation of multiple accommodations in a multi-accommodation booking.

Previously, the choice of traveller distribution, accommodation category and type of pension was displayed in a numbered list that was repeated several times.

Now the accommodation configurations in the booking process are grouped together under a single number for each accommodation.

Improvement of the “Create product”interface

The design of the pop-in window used to create a package and a merged package from the Administration module has been redesigned:

  • The overall interface has been improved
  • The banner is used as the title in the popup.
  • Some labels have been changed for greater clarity.
  • The way Destinations and Additional Information are entered has been improved.
  • The organisation of fields specific to the merged package has changed.
  • The package listing interface of the merged package has been revised.

The page no longer opens in a pop-in but in a tab (as for a product page).
The design remains consistent with the design of the product sheet and the new hotel creation design.

Invoice issuing based on consumption

In some cases, the invoice may have to be generated on consumption of the customer’s stay, rather than when the sale is made (in the case of a distributor/producer, in particular the owner of the hotels or accommodation it distributes).

It is now possible to set up a process of this type which, for example, waits for (technical) confirmation of consumption of the stay before generating the invoice, with the option of sending it automatically by email.

Managing waiting and timeout delays with Resaneo

Maximum response times are set for the various sources in order to guarantee optimum functional efficiency in the event that some sources have long response times.

The waiting time for Résaneo has been managed in such a way as to prevent orphan bookings while maximising the OK booking rate.

The booking is then managed as a “validated” booking with a pending issue status to indicate that a check needs to be carried out.

Backoffice folder types

To improve sales analysis capabilities, files are now typed “B2C” or “B2B” in the Backoffice.
