Activation of the Bancontact payment method on Worldpay

The Bancontact payment method, a must in the Belgian market, is now available on the Orchestra platform for the Worldpay payment provider.

Payment with Bancontact can be made during the booking process and from the file in the back office, including payment by e-mail.

Changes in the way dematerialized gift cards are received

The booking process for dematerialized gift cards has evolved. It is now possible, during the reservation process, to select the e-gift card delivery mode. Customers can choose between the following two options:

  • Send the e-gift card to themselves by e-mail, before printing it and offering it to the final recipient.
  • Send the e-card by e-mail directly to the recipient.

The dematerialized gift card is generated automatically from the Advantage module and attached in PDF format to the order confirmation e-mail.

New overnights prioritization mode for Dynamic Packages stays

In the Dynamic Package booking process, for flight and hotel proposals with different “overnights” (D-0, D+1, D+2), it was already possible to parameterize the booking to favor the selection of the best answer, for example, the cheapest flight and hotel combination.

A new modality has been implemented to favour the list of results containing the fastest outbound flight.

Integration of the new Amadeus “B2B Wallet” API

We have implemented the new Amadeus “B2B Wallet” API. This API enables flight bookings to be settled with airlines that require credit card payments, such as low-cost carriers.

The “B2B Wallet” solution can be activated via configuration.

Direct connectivity with Copa Airlines

Copa Airlines is now available for direct booking on the Orchestra platform, across all channels.

After-sales management for this airline will be offered in a later version.

Sending customer contact information in the event of unforeseen circumstances for Air France flights

The functionality for entering and sending contact data (telephone number or e-mail) in the booking process and Orchestra back office is now supported for Air France flights.

This feature can be activated via the booking and connectivity configuration.

Improved notification mechanism for transport-related changes

The mechanism for sending notifications has been improved to better target the recipients to be alerted following transport-related changes to a booking. For example, it is now possible to choose not to send notification of the ticket issue date to the producer’s partner agency, as this information is of no use to them.

Addition of filters for pre-package management

To simplify the management of pre-packages, it is now possible to filter pre-package stays based on the sources of the products that make up these stays.

This simplifies the management of pre-packages using different sources, as well as enabling finer-grained product retrieval.

This option can be configured by customer.

Addition of the product type in the back office

Information on the type of product booked (package, tour, hotel…) is now available on the “Booking overview” page in the Back Office.

It is also possible to search for bookings by this criterion using the Back Office search engine.
