Post-book insurance sales

It is now possible to offer and sell insurance after the purchase of a holiday.

Directly after the purchase has been finalized, a new link is available on the confirmation page and on the confirmation e-mail.

On click, this link redirects to a purchase path allowing the customer or agent to add insurance to the initial file.

The new additional file is added to or linked with the initial file.

An example is shown below on the booking confirmation.

Hotel production – Room activation and deactivation

Rooms can be deactivated or activated in hotels produced and accessible via the administration module – via channel manager.

A deactivated room will no longer be offered for sale. This makes it possible to manage more precisely what will be offered for sale, without having to delete a room that could be offered again at a later date.

Note that this behavior is automatically synchronized with Travelgate and Orchestra hotels. A room deactivated on Travelgate will also be deactivated on Orchestra.

A new rate added on Travelgate to a room deactivated on Orchestra will have the effect of activating the room.

New add-ons available on Disneyland Paris connectivity

New add-ons are available for sale with Disneyland Paris connectivity.

These will be add-ons linked to catering during the guest’s stay, and for luggage storage.

New contact option for Air France

By default, Air France receives the traveler’s contact information. From now on, another configured recipient can be sent.

It is also possible to send two contacts, agency and traveler.

New payment methods for Travelsoft NDC API

It is now possible to have “BSP” (Billing and Settlement Plan) or “ARC” (Airline Reporting Corporation) payments via the NDC Travelsoft API. This information is transferred to the back office at payment level.

This complements the existing “On account” and “Capping” payment methods.

Corporate fares for Copa Airlines

Copa Airlines’ corporate fares are available. This is made possible by an “account code” sent to the airline at the first stage of the search.
