Feature groups

Features can now be grouped other than by using categories. The groups must be configured by the Orchestra teams and can then be selected using a drop-down list when creating or editing a feature.

The visibility of these groups can also be managed in the user profiles to restrict the number of accessible groups.

Section for administration of accessible feature groups

By integrating this new notion into your catalogue, features can be displayed based on the group to which they belong, rather than based on their category only.

New product model for theme parks

A new product model dedicated to theme parks and their specific characteristics, called “Theme park”, is now available in the administration tool.

New model available in the administration tool

This model contains new rich content areas :

  • Accommodation,
  • Catering,
  • Facilities,
  • Parks,
  • The offering/News.

This model can be used to more effectively highlight the characteristics of theme parks.

Retrieving the email address
generated for Amadeus bookings in the confirmation email

When a flight is booked on Amadeus, the booking process can currently generate a generic email address that maintains the customer’s anonymity.

This address can now be retrieved in the confirmation email.

This change means that customers can register online on airlines’ websites (Ryan Air for example).

Searching for and exporting
folders by modification date

It is now possible to search for and export folders by modification date.

Various fields for filtering by modification date

Make automatic payment
attempts every X days

Payment attempts were previously automatically made every day during a defined period. A new configuration now allows users to choose either this method or to run attempts at specific intervals (every X days).

This new behaviour can be configured by the Orchestra teams in the back office configuration file.

  • Héliades

Connectivity with Héliades has changed and provides special rates for rooms based on the occupant’s age.

  • Disneyland

Thanks to the new theme park-oriented editorial format, the content of Disneyland Parks is richer and more effectively showcased.

New format available in the B2B solution

Note that the old Disneyland format is still available.

  • TUI

The Orchestra system will send passenger types (adults/children) according to the TUI definition in order to provide teenager rates.

This means that a 15-year-old passenger will be shown as a child throughout the booking process (Orchestra standard 0-17 years included), but will be identified as an ‘adult’ in the producer system, which sets the end of the child age group at 12.

This method is transparent for users, who only enter the age or date of birth.
