Addition of cabin baggage information

In the booking process, it is now easier to see whether or not cabin baggage is included in the transport being booked, as well as details of the size and weight of this cabin baggage. Pictograms have been added to make the information easier to read, and clicking on the “i” opens a tooltip showing the size/weight of the baggage included.

In the back office, information concerning cabin baggage and its detailed size and weight will be visible in the transport section of the booking. This will enable the travel agent to easily answer any questions the customer may have on this subject.

Optimizations on the Air France airline connectivity

We have carried out several evolutions on the connectivity of the airline Air France:

  • Opening up the sale of bundles with seats: it is now possible for customers to book a bundle with a seat, i.e. a flight associated with a seat at a preferential fare on Air France.
  • Removal of the surcharge applied by Air France, enabling more competitive fares to be obtained.
  • Lounge: Lounge access can now be booked on Air France flights.
  • “Marin” fares: Air France connectivity now makes it possible to book flights with ‘Marin’ or ‘Seamen’ fares for professionals in the maritime sector.
  • Fare query: thanks to this optimization, a single query is now sufficient to request several types of fare when using Air France connectivity.

Direct connectivity with Xiamen Airlines

Chinese airline Xiamen is now available for direct connectivity via all Orchestra platform modules (B2C & B2B transport booking process and back office).

Direct connectivity with the airline Air Canada

The airline Air Canada is now available for direct connectivity via the Orchestra platform booking process.

New features for producer NG Travel

Several new features have been added in the Rosetta connectivity for NG Travel (Boomerang, Directours…):

  • NG Travel products with multiple accommodations can now be booked on the Orchestra platform.
  • Rich content is now available for product room categories and board types.
  • The car rental option is also available for NG Travel products.

Information on the conversion origin of booking with retargeting emails

This evolution completes the retargeting email mechanism developed in 22.8, and enables distributors to be autonomous in ROI tracking of this mechanism.

It is now possible to search in the back office for a booking reserved by a customer following a click on this email. A “Sub-origin” field returning the value “mail abandon reservation” has been created in the back office search engine.

This value is also present in manual back office exports.

Improved sliding filters

This optimization corrects the following problem: bookings were being made whereas the product availability dates should not have remained open, due to a sliding filter applied to the product. This filter was slow to complete its execution.

The availability search before entering the booking process has been improved to avoid this problem.
