Interface adjustments

For an improved look and feel and better consistency, a number of adjustments have been made :

  • It is now possible to create a favourites list directly using the “Add to a list” button.
  • The list of action buttons at the top of the search results is replaced by a click button when only one menu action is possible (e.g. “Add to comparison”).
  • Moving from the product record to the quote page no longer causes a temporary holding page to display.
  • On the product record, the “Reserve” section of the side action bar has been renamed “Calendar”.  Also, the link to the “Reservations” section now looks the same as the other links on the side bar.

Optimisation
of user pop-up

The user pop-up (Configuration > Users > User hierarchy) has been optimised so that it opens more quickly.

Managing internal hotels

1/ “New price” promotion type

It is now possible to create “New price” promotion rules.

This means that, for nights covered by this promotion, the price of these nights will be the new value chosen, regardless of the previously configured price.

Entering the new promotion type “New price”

2/ Cancellation fees as “Number of nights payable”

When configuring cancellation periods, it is now possible to specify the period in nights rather than as a percentage :

  • Period as a percentage: A customer cancelling a reservation has to pay a percentage of the total cost of the room (including the price of hotel services such as full/half board or additional beds),
  • Period in nights: A customer cancelling a reservation has to pay for a certain number of nights’ stay.

Hotels associated
to packages – Easyvoyage information

The hotels used for links with packages can now be enhanced with information from the Easyvoyage source. When properly integrated in the catalogue, this additional information can be displayed on the product records for packages.

Ratings from Easyvoyage reviewers can therefore be accessed through Orchestra. These ratings are taken from a scale made up of 140 qualifying criteria following a visit to the hotel. They can be used to gauge the quality of the hotels linked to the packages and therefore their suitability for customers.

The following information is available :

  • Surname, first name, title and photo of the person leaving the review,
  • Average rating,
  • Easyvoyage assessment (popular, recommended, approved),
  • Summary of opinion,
  • The hotel’s good and bad points,
  • Pictures of the hotel,
  • Information about the photographer (copyright).

Pre-packaging :
New criteria for transport

Two new selection criteria have been added for specifying a transport service for a pre-package :

  • Outbound journey: earliest arrival time,
  • Return journey: latest departure time.

These criteria can be used to refine the flight options selected in the pre-package according to their arrival and departure times.

More flight types,
reservation types and tariff types added

Information relating to the type of flight (low cost, GDS, allotted) has been added to the “Trip details” section.

Also, information relating to the “reservation type” (standard or advance) and “tariff type” (standard or flexible) has been added to the preview.

File search
by exact email address

The Back Office Web Services can now be used to search for a customer’s exact email address.

This can be useful, for example, to call up a history of the reservations made by a customer using his customer account.

New display for payment tabs

A new display mode for the payment tabs is now available. It can display a radio button and/or a pictogram on the tabs.

New dynamic flights added
to packages with no transportation included

For compatible providers who are able to use this function, it is now possible to automatically offer flights from an external source to complete a package that has no more flight stock available. The package can then be reserved with a flight, as if it were a product package with transportation included.

This function requires specific configuration and development for each provider in order to be effective in the catalogue and booking process.

Optimisation of system
for importing content and prices/availability

In order to minimise integration time for new partner process flows, a new prioritisation algorithm has been developed to separate the processing of minor updates from major updates.

New provider

The ‘La France du Nord au Sud‘ (France from North to South) product range is now certified and available. It is mainly comprised of residences, unusual accommodation, Club hotels, gîtes and Gîtes de France, campsites, Villages Vacances (holiday villages), holiday homes, etc.

Provider developments

The Jet tours cache has been reworked to enable smoother integration of all content files and availability for its various brands.

A new Costa-Op brand is now available. It contains only the tariffs negotiated with Costa for special operations.
