Ergonomic improvements

Several features of the administration tool have undergone technical and graphic improvements to facilitate day-to-day use :

Search zone :

  • Auto-completion available from the 1st character in search zones,
  • Distribution search zone spread across 2 columns if more than 20 criteria are available on the page. The number of criteria can be modified,

  • Deletion of obsolete searches by pre/post-flight transport, basic accommodation, SETO (French-based association of tour operators) theme and trip type in the product search,

Search results table

  • Default sorting reversed on the search results tables: from the most recent products to the oldest ones,
  • Search results tables made larger,
  • Standardisation of the behaviour of searches with no results.

  • “Link to a content” window made larger,
  • “Filter applied during catalogue searches” text changed to ” Filter temporarily ”
  • Initialisation of the dates and times previously entered when publishing or un-publishing a product already scheduled,
  • Renaming of the “Move to recycle bin” button as “Blacklist”,

Product sheet

  • Addition of a button to return to the product form in the action bar of a product,

  • List of the hotels linked to the products available in the product sheet,

Miscellaneous improvements

  • Improvement in the performance of the filter configuration screen,
  • Configuration of margins on products and on the dates available only in the ‘price management’ module. The margins on tour operators, meanwhile, can still be accessed in the administration tool,
  • Improvement of session resumption: users are now logged out of their session and redirected to the module login page,
  • Preview zone in the editing of the editorial is not accessible by default.

Improvements to search services

For improved legibility, the search attributes have been reorganised in the search pages. New sections have been created in the search :

  • The “Identifier” section in the “Product” column :

Improvements have also been made to the response time during searches.

Reworking of the product deletion
and blacklisting mechanism

The product deletion and blacklisting mechanisms have been improved in order to optimise their performance. These actions are now processed asynchronously.

Products being deleted and blacklisted are greyed out and deleted progressively.

Configuration of the sending
address for partner emails

The sending address for partner emails can now be configured in the “properties” files.

This feature allows the email of each of your partners to be customised.

Management of room subtitles

A new field, “Displayed subtitle”, is now available in the general information for a room.

Configuration of the confirmation
email in the language of the provider

It is now possible to send the confirmation email to customers, distributors or service providers in different languages.

This update means that the customer confirmation email in the customer’s language and the business confirmation email in the service provider’s language can be sent simultaneously.

Display of editorial data in the product quote details

Product editorial zones can now be displayed in the quote details. These zones must consist of a list of simple fields or a list of titles and paragraphs.

This update serves to add more detail to the quote with the package editorial.

Multiple choice of services

The services can be grouped in exclusive or non-exclusive mode in the quote page. This option is available for pre-packages as well as for product, hotel and transport links.

The two grouping methods available are as follows :

  • Non-exclusivemode : the user can select one or more services from a group,

  • Exclusivemode: the user can select only one service from a group,

This option can be configured in the services grid using the following columns :

  • Selection group,
  • Selection type,
  • Group name.

This option allows lists of activities or transfers to be classified differently by theme, criterion or other factors in the booking.

New method
for calculation of agency commission

The agency commission is currently added to the sale price. It is now possible to calculate the agency commission based on the gross price in the back office.

To do this, simply enter either the value of the commission or the percentage of the commission relative to the gross price.

Customisation of module login pages

The login pages for the various modules can now be customised through the use of a specific parameter in the URL.

The following parts can be modified :

  • The text of the tab,
  • The logo,
  • The welcome message.

Changes to flight sources

It is now possible to identify the agencies during a booking.

H-résa auto-completion is now available in the administration tool, the B2B solution, the booking process and in the B2C catalogue via a specific integration.

Changes to providers

  • Changes to the Resalys system (MMV, Tohapi, etc.) 

It is now possible to offer a precise category of accommodation from the catalogue and book it exclusively in the booking, during a non-rental trip.

  • Changes to Voyamar booking

The prices of the rooms and the alternative categories are now managed and displayed in the booking tunnel.

  • TUI and Passion des îles 

The process to find the best price of the best category by default has been optimised to reduce price differences between the catalogue and the booking.

  • Visiteurs

Visiteurs is changing system. During the transition, the current production will be available on the old system, and the new production will be available on the new system (under the name Visiteurs Pro), available as from version 14.6 on request to contact-tour-operateurs@orchestra.eu  with the agreement of the partner.
