Managing content pages

Why ?  To allow users to create various content and share it with travel agents who can then access their documents, sales help, special offers, etc.

Where ? Via tabs in B2B, just like for product sheets. They can be opened via links placed within text on the home page or within other content pages. Several tabs of the same type can be opened at once, and it’s possible to browse from content to content.

How ? In the administration tool, on the ‘editorial’ tab. Managing this content is done via a new dedicated editorial space, known as ‘editorial content for B2B’. It includes a unique wysiwyg zone (which stands for ‘what you see is what you get’), where it’s possible to incorporate:

  • text
  • images
  • videos (via iframes),
  • links to product sheets
  • other content pages
  • classic links

With this wysiwyg zone, text is not editable, but you can use the bold, italic, list and title functions.

Integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Context : Customer relationship management (CRM) is the set of tools and techniques used to capture, process and analyse information related to customers and prospects, with the overall goal of improving customer retention by offering or suggesting relevant services.

Why ? To complete the customer management tools available on the Orchestra platform. Integrating an external CRM tool allows users to connect their existing customer databases with the B2B solution and therefore centralise all their data. Pre‑filling contact details/passenger forms in the booking process when the customer is already known, and sending reserved files, can therefore become an automated process.

How ?

  • By using a single sign-on system (SSO) available within your Microsoft Dynamics area, sending customer data directly to the Orchestra B2B solution.
  • By using a search form in Orchestra’s B2B solution, which connects to Microsoft Dynamics to gather the necessary customer information.

Once entered in the booking process, this information will be used on the contact details page in order to pre-fill the form.

Note : some other specific developments have been planned to take into account some potential Microsoft Dynamics developments.

Pre-Package – added cache system

Pre-packages containing a flight from an Amadeus source can now use a cache system, which can calculate availability much more quickly, and the refresh rate has been improved.

Flight connectivity: configuration of
sending an information email

In certain cases, the Amadeus source will send important messages during the booking process, such as manual actions that need to be done to complete the booking.

To allow these messages to be sent, it is now possible to configure emails to be sent containing this information, as well as the corresponding PNR, to inform the distributor.

Improvement of the format of customer export

Changes to the customer export format have been made. Commas have been replaced by semi-colons and speech marks have been removed altogether.

Improvement of caches in the service package

New caches have been added to improve the recovery performance of product cartridges.

Improvement of
storage in internal production

Improved stock verification in multi-product grids is now available to avoid storing useless information.

Improvement
of channel managers connectivity

Improvements have been made to our connectivity with channel managers via improved responses within associated web services.

Several post-booking improvements

  • When booking pre-packages or dynamic packages, better accommodation supplier management is available within post-booking Gestour system folders.
  • Improvements have been made to creating vouchers for the Crystal Flex provider, in order to retrieve editorial text for associated products.
  • There is now an option to configure what is sent to the Gestour system with different URLs, depending on the channel.

Improvement in the Back Office

When entering text in a manual folder, in the ‘quotes’ section, it is now possible to define a maximum quantity (10, by default).

Several connectivity improvements

  • Hotel : When searching with an Expedia hotel source, the trip duration is now limited to a maximum duration as approved by the source (28 days).
  • Flight : Developments have been introduced to Amadeus Wallet integration in order to be able to define card payment types by low-cost airline.
  • Package : Honeymoons have been removed from the Jet tours TCI brand. They are now only available as part of the Jet tours brand.
