Improvements to interface graphics

Significant improvements have been made to the graphics of the Administration interfaces.

The aim of these improvements is to make Orchestra more pleasant to use for current users, giving them a more modern interface while still being familiar and intuitive.

Separators between search sections and fonts of titles

These developments are also intended to bring Orchestra into line with the standards of use for applications accessible via a web browser to make it as easy and as natural as possible for new users to adopt the platform.

Simplification of horizontal separators, addition of selection checkboxes

A new menu with clearer titles helps users navigate between parts of the platform and the different tabs.

Boost the flights offer via multiple requests

A feature has been developed for the Amadeus source that allows users to trigger multiple requests based on certain parameters. This is because in some cases (especially in the case of a sale by a professional), the GDS response returning the best 250 prices is not sufficient.

It was already possible for the user to simultaneously and transparently search for the best prices and best prices including luggage.

It is now also possible to use the configuration to add requests for one or more specific companies (maximum of three) according to departure and/or destination airport.

For example, for the CDG => JFK route, you can simultaneously ask the GDS for:

  • The best prices across all operators
  • The best prices including luggage
  • The best prices with the company Air France
  • The best prices with the company Norwegian

… and display the results of these requests in a single list of unique results.

Extensive (and international) content for Campings.com

Campings.com products are becoming multilingual. Languages currently available are:

  • French
  • French (Belgium)
  • German
  • Dutch
  • Dutch (Belgium)
  • Spanish
  • Italian

The booking of these products also takes into account the language of the request so that the language information is sent to Campings.com and then messages and information sent by the source is in the language used for the request.

The development also means extensive content about the accommodation can be offered and the composition of participants can be refined by adding the maximum number of adults per accommodation to the maximum number including children. For example, accommodation for a maximum of 6 people can be limited to 4 adults (and two children), which wasn’t specified before this development and could lead to disappointment.

Luggage for Thalasso N°1

With Thalasso N°1, it is now possible (since version 16.8) to book luggage when the inclusive flight does not offer this. The selection is made per passenger in the booking process.

Catalogue and feature services

The web services used for the display and sale of products from an Orchestra catalogue on the B2C websites have been improved in order to present more featured offers while taking into account the parameters for duration and date of feature.

Selection of a payment method vs. selection of a PSP

Historically each payment service provider offered a limited number of payment methods, and a distributor only rarely used more than one PSP. The display and choice of payment method to be used by the customer during the booking process was therefore naturally done by selecting the technical service provider corresponding to the desired payment method.

More and more combinations of payment methods are used today (by card type of course, but also by multiple cards or in multiple instalments, etc.), it is therefore now possible to show a payment option via a tab independently from the technical payment system below.

Improved auto-complete when adding a transfer to a pre-package

The auto-complete when searching for a transfer to add to the pre-package is now set by the filter for transfer type.

According to the selected transfer type, the auto-complete only displays transfers corresponding to the selected filter.

Automatic choice of agency in the case of a near departure

Some distributors allow internet users to choose the agency that processes their booking at the time of booking via direct distribution channels.

In some cases, particularly in the case of last-minute bookings, some agencies are better equipped to process these urgent bookings. (Particularly remote sales agencies.) Depending how far in advance it is, the booking agency can be automatically chosen in the configurations.

Centralised management of PDFs

Creation of PDFs by different modules of the platform is now centralised using a single system. This centralised management will allow greater efficiency in the optimisation of different internal documents and those for end customers.

Scrolling of photos by keyboard

In the slide show of photos for the Products and Booking B2B module, it is now possible to scroll through the photos using the direction arrows on the keyboard.

Similarly, clicking outside the pop-in of the slide show will close the slides and quickly return to the sales process.

Discount codes in the Back Office

The discount codes used in the booking process are saved and displayed in the preview of the back office records.

The fact that a discount code has been used and specifically which code is also available in the booking exports.

“All providers” permission in the Hotel section

When adding permissions for Orchestra users, the “all providers” option is now available in the permissions section for the hotel sources.

Selecting the checkbox allows the user to administer all hotel sources in a single click, those currently present and also future ones.
