Direct connections to airlines

New use cases of direct connectivity to the AirFrance, Pegasus, British Airways and Nouvel Air airlines have been added, particularly on the possibilities of acting on files and tickets in the back office, after the booking process.

Addition of information in order to have the possibility to sign on pre-contracts printings

In the case of a quote edition, some information must be present so that this quote contains the necessary information for the end customer to make his/her choice.

It is also necessary that information are there so that the signature of this quotation is legally possible. This improvement allows to add these information. The signature of this quotation therefore allows the customer to be comitted, et is so a considerable time saving for travel agencies during sale period.

Export of abandoned carts

An Orchestra feature allows to export the list of unfinished folders for analysis or reminder purposes.

In the case where the Internet user is connected to his/her account, it is possible to add the client’s email to this export so that the client can be contacted again via email later on.

Management of multiple currencies and foreign exchange

It is possible to configure the internal product currency in the mid office. In the case of an indirect booking, when exporting this product to another Orchestra customer, prices are converted from this currency into euros (according to the exchange rate of the day). This distributor will thus be able to sell in euros a product initially built in another currency.
The folders created include the currencies and the necessary information in each of the producer’s and distributor’s systems.

Monitoring Dpcache instances

Dpcache is the plateform’s internal system for calcultating the availability of pre-packages.

The monitoring internal tool for these systems has been improved to enable better monitoring and continuous performance optimization.

Floa Banque Casino payment for branch networks

Floa Banque Casino integration is now available for implementations requiring the management of a branch network. Additional information must be added to the queries to allow a well payment process and its association with the appropriate branch.

New ATOS integration

The integration with the PSP ATOS has been updated

The integration with the ATOS PSP has been updated in the new version of their API for the mobile reservation and desktop reservation process.

Optimization of queries for calendar recovery

Queries to retrieve the information needed to display of calendars in the B2B Professional Tool and websites have been optimized for more responsive interfaces and faster page loads.

Product duplication and product merging

Duplicating a product creates a product B on the basis of the elements of product A, while keeping its information and configurations, and especially its type, corresponding to the product structure.

It is now possible to duplicate a product while changing its structure, for instance, from a Package product structure to a Merged Package structure.

Dates closing functionality

The date closing functionaly has been removed and is now replaced by the functionality of deleting availabilities, which has the same effect for significant performance gains in the case of many products with large availability ranges.

Graphic enhancements

A revision of the Administration’s search design has been done on the Products, Hotels, Stages, Flights, Services, Editorials, Files, Clients and Advices tabs.

  • New visual for the input fields (new size, different colored frame when an overview / a selection, grayed out text if the field is empty).
  • Removal of the bars to roll up / unroll down the form and search results. Now the page automatically scrolls on the resutls after a research, but the form remains open.

Merged products and automatic publication removal

When removing the publication of a merged product is made, it is sometimes necessary to remove the entire sub-products publication.

Via configuration, it is possible to pre-select this functionality as the default option. Depending on the use cases of this feature, this configuration allows to save a click, a bit of time and comfort for users, and reduce the risks of errors.

Update of editorial content databases

The editorial contents of all products are stocked in databases on which important updates are made in this version.

Access rights in the Administration

Via configuration, it is now possible to open (or not) access rights to the modules available in the Administration menu.

Camping and Location content

When selling a camping or a rental, the content of the offer must be attractive and structured. By reworking the information received, we can propose a clearer and more detailed format, which will enhance the products.

Each distributor will be able to choose to receive the inital flow, or this enriched flow.

The content is enhanced by more emphasis by, particularly, distinct categories for this type of product and available according to sources: “Offer”, “On site”, “Catering”, “Accomodation”, “To know” and “Nearby”, which include information on activities or points of interest nearby the product, “Keywords”, and “Geolocation”.

FTI in Dutch and multi-chamber

Dutch language products are now available for the FTI producer.

Also, evolutions allows, from now on, to cover the needs for the following combinations :

  • 2 adults (was already available)
  • 2 adults + X children
  • 1 adults + X children
  • 3 adults + X children
  • 4 adults + X children

E-ticket number via Amadeus in the Back office and in MCTO

In some cases, especially in the case of low-cost bookings, the PNR is not a relevant information, this is the e-ticket number which is required. This information can now be displayed in the Back office or sent via MCTO.

Services via SPI connectivity

Septeo Pôle Immobilier (SPI) is a software dedicated to seasonal rentals. Via an Orchestra connectivity, rental products are accessible and marketable by Orchestra customers.

In this version, an evolutions allows to add the reservation of optional services to the accodomoation rental (cleaning service for example).

Improvement of the Connectique Alert tools

Within the scope of monitoring the performance of connectivity between Orchestra and the external systems connected (product sources, Tour Operator systems, etc.) computer porgrams monitor health of these connectivities to alert internal teams according to the problems.

These programs have been improved in order to increase in performance and allow a greater reactivity from teams.

Transport Back office

For several versions, Orchestra teams have been working on very important evolutions of the Back office in order to allow end-to-end management of transports (especially transportation with direct connectivity with the companies) from this interface.

These evolutions allow, among others, to:

  • Increase the capacity of folders’ search engines to enable a more efficient searching of folders via transport information. These evolutions also include the addition of features to the quick search in the menu bar. A specific search engine from transportation is now available.
  • Improve the readability of the transport folders from the list of results of the search engine. A lot of information are available from the results list (airlines, emission status, name of passengers…).
  • Allow actions on folders from the list results or shortcuts to the interfaces allowing these actions.
  • Present the folders containing transport information in a precise and exhaustive way with improvements in the “Transport details” section.
  • Transmitting, modifying, paying the difference, cancelling tickets (and that these remain synchronized with the airline company whom modifications can also be made)
  • Modifying passengers, add ancillary products and services

… and all of these for the entire transport and companies sources in direct connectivity.

Messages et information for Weekendesk

From now on, information and alert messages (Information, Alert and Error) are implemented in order to be displayed in the booking process.

Of course, these messages can not contain advertising information or direct contact solicitation, but information sent in real time to inform travelers of special arrangements to be made concerning their transport, for instance, of services, or concerning the price of their stay.
