Transport search engine in the Back office

Following the development of the new flight search results page, the same functionalities as the other search engines have been implemented, namely:

  • Maximum number of results (configurable)
  • The message “No result”
  • Save a search (by user)
  • The possibility to export the results (top and bottom of the page)

Integration of the Travelclick channel manager

The API of the Travelclick channel manager has been integrated. From now on, prices, stocks and stay constraints of hotels that have opened a channel on Orchestra are available to distributors as well as the sending of reservations and cancellations.

Reassurance line in the booking process

It is now possible to add, via configuration, several lines to give generic information per channel to the customer when making a reservation.

This element appears in the reservation process in the column summarizing the quote at the payment time, just above the call-to-action “Validate”.

Dynamic Package on a unique hotel

The dynamic package process can now be concentrated on a single hotel (highlighted specifically on a B2C website for instance).

When entering the reservation process, the hotel is pre-selected and the different room choices are proposed.

Direct connectivity Vueling

Connectivity with the airline has been improved in order to manage flight searches in currencies not supported by Vueling API.

Management of fare classes for Nouvelair

Direct connectivity with the Nouvelair airline has been improved to enable the management of fare classes (light, easy and flex) and thus offer them to customers when booking airline tickets.

Visual evolutions of the Administration interface

For several versions, the Administration interface is gradually evolving towards a more modern and functional design, in order to make the use of Orchestra pleasant and the support of new users more efficient.

In this new version, the search engine result lists have been improved.

Editorial synchronization between merged products

This evolution allows to synchronize editorial content :

  • A merged product from its reference product.
  • A prepackaged product from its reference object, whether it is a hotel or a package product.

In the case of a merged product, the reference product is chosen in the modal window where the merged product is created. A check bow in this window also allows you to define whether synchronization will be activated or not.

In the case of a prepackaged product, the reference object (hotel or package) is chosen in the last popup of the prepackage management (“organize trip” button). A check box aslo allows to define in this popup if the synchronization will be active or not.

Once the reference element has been chosen, a system will be regularly activated to ensure the synchronization of the editorial content.

Optimization of customer searches

In the Customer tab of the Administration, searches in the customer database have been optimized to speed up response times for every large databases (several million customer accounts).

SIPS Atos V2 and DSP2

A new integration of the Atos PSP has been carried out in order to meet the new security standards and in particular the Payment Services Directive 2.

Addition of information in the confirmation email of the internal hotel

It is now possible, via configuration, to add age information and comments from guests in the confirmation email sent to the internal hotel when a reservation is made.

Transport Back office and direct connectivities

In this version, the transport Back office gains in functionality with new essential uses for selling transport with direct connectivity to airlines. In particular, with ticket issuing, the application of agency fees to modify the visibility of different fare lines for users, advanced rights management, a first step for adding ancillary services, and the management of virtual cards (for the payment of low-cost airlines).

Accomodation capacity for iResa

Packages are traditionally searched per person (in half-double price = price base per person in case of booking a double room for two persons).

In the case of the reservation of rental products (camping or rental), the accomodation capacity is a very important information at the time of the search and we would like it to be taken into account in the search so that only the products corresponding to the customer’s needs are proposed.

In the context of multi-hosting products, it is therefore important not to rely on the maximum capacity of the product, but on the maximum capacity of the remaining availabilities at the dates sought by the customer.

Credentials management for indirect booking

Agency credentials must be filled out on the distributor’s system and the producer’s system in order for the agency to be authorized to book and be recognized.

For indirect booking, the producer’s system and the distributor’s system are Orchestra systems. A credential synchronization functionality has been implemented to allow a single management of the tree structure and secure access to the agencies.

One more step towards “in the heat” delivery of catalogs

Within the framework of the continuous technical evolutions on the Orchestra platform, a particularly important project is in progress to allow the delivery of the websites in a transparent way for the Internet users.

Some sites are already using this new technology and have been able to experiment with the delivery of new functionalities in the middle of the day, without interrupting service and without impacting the sites’ ability to take reservations from Internet users.

Automatic agency fees for back office changes

The Orchestra capping tool allows you to limit an agency’s account expenses within a tree structure.

  • Parent Agency
    • Agency A
    • Agency B – on account expenditure authorisation of 3 M€
      • Agence 1 – on account expenditure authorisation of 1 M€
      • Agence 2 – on account expenditure authorisation of 1 M€
    • Agency C

The tree structure thus makes it possible to delegate part of the parent agency’s authorization to a subsidiary agency and thus control the commitments of each of the agencies in order to secure expenditure.

This tool now also allows you to set up agency fees when a file is modified in the back office. In the same way, this setting applies to the entire subsidiary tree structure where it is applied, unless it is overloaded with a new value.

Camping and Rental content in Products & B2B reservation

Following developments 17.5 on the enrichment of connectivity and product flows, the new features provided by these enriched flows have been added to the professional sales tool for travel agents.

Example of the “Hosting” content block detailing and highlighting each hosting available on the product.

Five new blocks are now displayed for these enriched flow Camping and Leasing products:

  • Offer
  • On site
  • Hosting
  • Catering
  • To know

Pre-filling and synchronization of the editorial content of pre-packages and merged products

The automatic pre-selection of the pre-filling and synchronization functions of the merged products can be customized by distributor via a configuration in order to meet the different use cases of these functionalities.

Factually, these “checkboxes” can be checked by default on the forms or unchecked by default via a configuration.
