Booking modification in connectivity: incremental reservation

Following the evolution enabling partial cancellation of a booking in connectivity, the incremental reservation functionality has been added to the back office.

This functionality is accessible from the “Modification” section of the booking for users with the associated right. By launching the “Reservation of a new service” from a booking, the user is redirected to the B2B where he/she can make a reservation which will then be added to the initial booking.

Incremental booking is available for all services that do not include transport: hotels, activities, packages without transport.

This feature can be activated via a configuration in the back office.

Direct connectivity with TAP Air Portugal

The airline TAP Air Portugal is now available with direct connectivity via all Orchestra platform modules (transport booking process, B2C, agency, pre-packaging, back office).

Integration of new airline loyalty programs

Passengers with frequent flyer numbers on certain airlines can now enter this information into Orchestra’s booking process to earn points in their loyalty accounts.

The frequent flyer programs have been integrated for the following airlines: Air France, American Airlines, British Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and Iberia.

Enrichment of destination airports available with Amadeus in the Transport booking process

We have enhanced our connectivity with Amadeus, making it possible to enrich the destination airports available for flights in the Orchestra platform’s Transport booking process.

Previously, this was only possible in the Package booking process.

Improvement on flight filters by arrival and departure airport

We have made functional and visual improvements to the filters used to refine flight searches.

In all booking processes, it is now possible to filter flights by departure airport, arrival airport, for the outbound and return flight.

Previously, it was only possible to filter by departure and arrival airports for the outbound flight.

Limitation of available flights in the indirect booking process

In order to improve flight booking performance, we have implemented an optimization that limits the number of flights retrieved when searching for availability. This concerns the indirect booking process.

This optimization can be activated via a configuration.

New fields added for Europlayas hotel source

The Europlayas hotel source has been upgraded. It is now possible to distinguish between Europlayas reservations made through agencies and e-commerce, and to associate agencies or sub-agencies with them, thanks to additional fields.

Updated email templates for automatic send of travel documents

In the back office, we have made a change to the email templates used to automatically send travel documents to customers.

In particular, it is now possible to use an email template with the subject “Cancels and replaces”, to inform customers when changes have been made to their booking, after they have already received an initial automatic email including their travel book.

Addition of search fields in the Transport back office and graphic redesign of the quick search function

It is now possible to search for flight bookings by ticket number and/or date of issue, thanks to new fields added to the Transport back office.

The search by ticket number is also integrated into the “Quick Search”.

This evolution is accompanied by a graphic redesign of the “Quick Search” to make it more ergonomic.

Improvement of the “capping” payment method

For flight bookings, we have optimized the “capping” payment method so that it only appears when an agency account has been initialized.

Optimization of the “Always sell” functionality

The “Always sell” feature has been enhanced, making it possible to go beyond payment errors and product unavailability to confirm bookings and avoid losing virtually guaranteed sales.

It is now possible to exclude bookings by type and error code (abandonment, payment) in the back office search lists, in order to prioritize the bookings to be managed by agencies and enable them to concentrate on higher value-added bookings.

Ability to target bookings without invoices

Following the implementation of pay-as-you-go billing functionality in a previous version, we have added the ability to set quick-search lists to bookings without invoices whose start date has passed.

It is now also possible to activate the search for bookings with or without invoices from the back office search engine.

This feature is deactivated by default.

Improvement of availability imports performance

Technical improvements have been made to the price and availability cache imports to optimize their stability and speed.
